(Gibsons) Connie (she/her) brings more than 30 years’ experience in non-profit and municipal government leadership. At the Fraser River Discovery Centre, the City of Richmond and the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site, she helped museums and heritage sites become vehicles for social change within communities, working collaboratively with various cultural groups and Indigenous communities to tell their stories. She is passionate about working collaboratively with donors, local charities, community leaders, volunteers and staff to help achieve the Foundation’s vision.
Connie relocated to the Sunshine Coast in 2021, although she has been visiting family here regularly for over 25 years. She is an avid walker/hiker and belongs to a sailing co-op, spending as much time cruising BC’s coastal waters as she can.
