(xwesam/Roberts Creek) After moving from Montreal in the fall of 2022, Elizabeth Doucette was keen to get actively involved in volunteering, where she could help create great programs and infrastructure for the many wonderful community groups out here on the Sunshine Coast.
Joining our Grants Committee in early 2023, and formally appointed to the Board in June, she looks forward to championing the Foundation’s vision of a healthy and vibrant community where everyone belongs.
Originally from Vancouver, Elizabeth holds a Master of Arts from the University of Edinburgh, and works for the Sunshine Coast Credit Union. She also lends her time to other local charities, including the Sunshine Coast Branch of the BC SPCA and the Heritage Playhouse in Gibsons. Elizabeth is an avid baker and outdoor explorer, and she’s a pet parent to two cats – Rusty and Islay – and one dog – Reggie.
