(Roberts Creek) Board Chair Manjit Kang is currently Owner and President of TechEase Technology Solutions, and previously had a long career with TELUS, most recently as the Director of the Program Management Office. His areas of expertise include business management, marketing and adult training, with a solid technical foundation and key achievements in team building, innovation, and community involvement.

Manjit is currently a Director on the board of the Sunshine Coast Credit Union, and is the President of the Sunshine Coast TELUS Community Ambassadors. He has previously served as Chair of the Gibsons and District Public Library board and has chaired the Rotary Club of Gibsons International Projects Committee. Manjit has also volunteered for the Sea Cavalcade, Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden Society, and Habitat for Humanity.

Manjit is a volunteer instructor at the Capilano University Community Access to Learning and Literacy (CALL) and the ESL and Settlement Assistance programs.

Since moving to the Coast almost 10 years ago, Manjit has grown to really appreciate this great community and wants to continue to be involved in making it better. Manjit serves the Foundation as a member of the Community Grants Committee. As a member of the Board, he hopes to apply his experience from other boards, expand his community network and contribute to good governance at the Foundation.
