10 Aug Reaching for $1M
We love it when those who create endowments with us set ambitious fundraising goals. That’s why we are thrilled with the Festival of the Written Arts’ determination to grow the endowments from which they benefit to $1 Million. The Festival receives annual grants from four different endowments and hopes to soon establish a fifth. The collective holdings in these funds tops $839,000, generating more than $30,000 annually toward the Festival’s operations. “With pledges in hand, we will soon surpass $900,000 in these funds,” says Festival Producer, Jane Davidson. “A million dollars seemed an impossible dream when we launched this campaign two years ago,” she notes. “But now it is in sight, thanks to the generosity of our supporters.”
