(Ch’kw’elhp/Gibsons) Elfie Hofmann has lived and worked on the Sunshine Coast for more than 20 years. During that time she has held positions with the Sunshine Coast Golf and Country Club (as Business Manager), the Howe Sound Pulp and Paper Corporation (first as Community Relations Coordinator and then as Senor Advisor, Employee Relations), and lastly as Director of Human Resources with the Sunshine Coast Community Services Society.

Elfie is a dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer. She served previously on the Foundation’s Board of Directors from 2005 to 2010 and on its Grants Committee from 2010 to 2018. She also served on the Board of the Sunshine Coast Credit Union from 2002 to 2012.
